 Today is the day...
That Dukie...AKA...Bailey is going to his forever home! I am excited and anxious at the same time. It has been a joy having Bailey here.
He is so sweet and so smart! He comes when you call him, has figured things out at 9 weeks that Dallas still hasn't figured out at 1 year. Bailey is 12 weeks old today and flies out at 11:30 this morning.
I've got to run to PetSmart this morning to pick up some nutrical for him just in case he needs it on the flight. He's never had one episode of hypo...actually, NONE of my dogs have so I don't keep it on hand.
Keep your fingers crossed that he has a good flight and does well. He sleeps in his carrier at night (I leave the door open) so that he'll get use to it.
I'll try not to cry today...but I know that I'm going to miss him. Jackie is going to be an AWESOME mom to him and I know she'll spoil him rotten! |
