It can be hard, but try to stay patient (easier said than done I know!). It was a good 13-14 months till Teddy was fully house trained - he even had a few set backs after he was trained. His second summer (he was like 14-15 months) he had a set back b/c he would go out to pee/poo, but get distracted b/c we had rabbits that nested in our yard, and it became his mission to rid the yard of them and he wouldn't go. When I would bring him in he would have an accident. I wound up putting him on a leash and walking him around the yard til he went to keep him focused. Now he is 2 and luckily we don't have any problems - he will give me the look to let me know he has to go. He will still "sprinkle" once in awhile when he gets really excited - especially if I was out for a few hours or someone new comes in. It takes time!! Don't think it is just you or your baby - I think we've all been there, but their adorable faces and love make up for it. Remember 1 year old is still young, and yorkies can be a challenge!! Good Luck!!!
