Hi All, I was hoping you could give me some advice. I tried to do a search on here for some info but couldn't find anything...maybe I don't know where to look?!?!?

Aria is 2.5 years old and wasn't socialized with dogs too much due to some illnesses her first few months with us. Now she is very shy around dogs and doesn't seem to take too much interest in them after she initially meets them. Has anyone had a similiar situation and gotten a second pup? How did the older dog react? Are they close now? I guess my biggest concern is the possibilty of Aria getting depressed or something like that if we get a new pup. She's been very spoiled and has always had mommy and daddy's attention all to herself. Any suggestions on what I can do to *prepare* her for a sister or get her used to other dogs? Or should I just forget the idea altogether?

There is a pup I am really interested in and we are meeting her and the breeder on Sunday. I am really nervous! I would die if they didn't get along and they wouldn't meet until we bring her home!
