Hello everyone,

Ive been registered here for a little while, but now is when I have actually have some time to really read through some posts. I have a 10 month old female yorkie named MiMi. She is my very first yorkie and she has the best personality I could ask for! I just had a few questions for the more experienced Yorkie owners/breeders out there.

First question is, what are normal changes and growing stages of the their coat? What does a cottony coat look like vs a silk coat??

Second is, when do they reach their full physical weight and size?

Just trying to educate myself the most I can. I love dogs and would love to show someday. Her sire is CH, so I am hoping I have some hope in her being show quality...i know its a lot to ask for, but you never know!

About me, I am in California, just seperated from the Air Force and due with a baby boy in Dec! I am married, no kids yet until Dec comes around! Looking forward to being a part of this board and maybe meeting some new friends!
