I never gave it a thought since it was inserted on March 29th, usually between the shoulder blades but while I was giving her a massage( which I do every couple of weeks) just to make sure there are no skin tumors or anything, I felt this small lump. Well, did I ever panic. I thought it was a tumor until I called my vet and was told it was the chip that moved. He told me to bring her in and he would scan her and make sure it was the chip.
Well, it sure eased my mind to know that it was the chip but I never thought it would move. My daughter has an Italian Greyhound who is only 8 lbs at a yr. old and his never moved yet. I guess some do and some don't, as long as it don't interfere with their health in any way its ok to move. I just wondered if anyone else has experienced the same situation. |
