Hi and welcome!
When my 2 were pups they both got the same thing on tips of their ears. My vet stated it was just due to the drier air, comes about this time of year but gave them a fatty acid supplement to keep the skin hydrated during the dry months.I also used a dab of mineral oil and would rub it in until the fatty acid kicked in.
