My Sadie has coarse hair. (she is the darker one in my avatar). First, Eukanuba isn't a good choice of food...it has by-products in it..Canidae is good for their coats. When Sadie was a puppy she wasn't as "fluffy" as Lillie (my #2 furbaby) Her coat didn't grow as fast as Lillies either. I have tried EVERYTHING to get her coat into shape. Her hair tends to break off too. I think this is because it is so coarse. Her Mother and father's coats were not like this at all...Maybe somewhere down the line there was a coarse coat and Sadie was the lucky(?) one to inherit it...I really don't know of anything that will help this...If you do come across something please let me know..
