 Retraining... pee pads
Mocha has been going outside to potty all summer long, with the occasional accident if someone doesn't see her standing by the door. Now with the mornings being cold she runs back into the house and pees on my rug. I have a pee pad area right by the door she uses to go out, so how do I retrain her to use it again. She was pad trained prior to the summer. Being this her first summer once she got a taste of the outside and fresh air she stopped using the pad. I kept them out in the same spot all summer just incase she needed them. I've tried putting her on the pad and saying "potty", she just walks right off. HELP! |
