PS I have a question though.... Can the stud owner specify that the bitch owner MUST sell the puppies on aspay or nueter contract?? The reason we went to a experienced show breeder was because we wanted quality puppies.. of which we hoped would add a show quality male to our yorkies.... but then I wouldn't be able to show it.. doesn't make sense to me.. Also if she took pick of the litter, could I also enforce that SHE must get the puppy spayed or nuetered?? |
Not usually, however, it all depends on what is in the contract and what you are willing to agree too.
Would I sign to that, no. It's my bitch and I'm paying for the sperm.
That is why most show breeders have their own studs.
