The stud fee is paid after the breedings, when the bitch goes home..you are not buying puppies, you are buying the services of a stud, semen, nothing more....hopefully, it will result in a litter..if not a second service is given...

Think about it...when a woman goes to a serum bank, does she only pay if she gets pregnant...same in dogs.
Stud service is a big job..I maintained stud males for years..it takes money, work and time..you mean to tell me I deserve nothing for my studs services..? Same in the world of horse and all animals.

You do not pay a fee and a puppy...always pay a fee..do not deal with a pup back to the stud owner..too costly!
