I have a contract for my stud service and yes, I charge the stud fee upfront, after I have completed the breeding before the bitch goes home. In my contract it describes what happens if there is no pregnancy and if there is a single dead pup and single dead pup and what constitutes a litter.

Its very important to have these all discussed and a contract BEFORE she studs her dog.
