Bogey learned "sit" first. Like what is said above, take a treat & put it in front of his nose & move above it, he will sit to get it. I would insist he sit before any treat & he learned within a day. Now (a year later) all I do is raise the treat up & he sits without me saying anything!! They're quick learners.
