Wow - sorry guys i hate to be the bearer of bad news but i got my pup from Anne at Hylan and he was diagnosed with Renal Dysplasia at 6 months old. He is a year old now and cautiously doing well - only because we go to the vet once every two weeks to get hydrated and once a month we check his calcium, phosphorus, BUN/Creatnine and parathyroid hormone levels, etc etc...get the picture.
Yes.....I am very lucky that I have the means to do this. I contacted Anne shortly after his diagnosis by way of a sad, yet lovely email just to let her know. Hey, this could have very well been an isolated incident, but just thought she would WANT to know.....I never brought up the contract (which incidentally I never got) nor did I discuss a refund (not my style)....contrary to her "frequently checking on her pups", which was on another post....i never heard from her again.. That was all I really wanted......just to keep in touch and see how he was doing....very disappointing. |
