Hey, that was what I was thinking! The tootsie roll and the tootsie pop will go together perfectly. AND I have seen that tootsie pop costume before - maybe in a pattern book, but I have seen it.

I know my daughter was a grape lollipop one year and we did white leggings with a white turtle and wrote a joke on them - we used black paint and stencils, but I bet you could even use the bigger black stickers that are used for house numbers too(like most sucker sticks have on them) and cut out a foam circle with a palce for her head (hard to explain), covered it in purple spray paint and purple cellphane and painted her face purple....it was cute!!
