I had Garett cut in a puppy cut about 6 months ago, and am now letting him grow out. Bengie has only had trims since I got him at four months old and his hair actually skims the ground when he is standing. I know I need to trim it, but he has the silky hair only he is still 99% black and gold (besides his head) although he is starting to get silver on his belly and undercoat. He is my long haired hippy dude. By the way, I tried some aromatherapy stuff on Bengie on Sunday, cause all you have to do is say "brush" and he is under the bed for hours and it worked, he lay there half asleep and let me brush him completely!!!! I could not believe it, he actually let me brush everything out without fussing or trying to escape.
