I am a visual person, so I like to see everything! | Hi Jenn, For monogramming, it might be doable to actually have a font option so that when someone wants to order a monogram, they can pick whatever fonts they want . . . I will talk to hubby about that . . .maybe I can start with just a few of the wide selections I have. This way there is no guesswork for both the buyer and me figuring out what would look best.
On artwork, right now I do not have a lot to show since time is always my problem . . . so what happens is I get one created as someone puts in an order. Most fabrics that would be perfect for girls will always have an artwork derived from the actual fabric print, just to tie everything together . . . .I am actually thinking of opening a new section called "embroidery vests & dresses" . . . .and on this section a sample of the artwork right next to the fabric. of course if I do have an actual dress/vest already made, then I will show it as well. Unfortunately I don't have all the artwork done on all the fabrics yet so I will go as people order.
For now customers are just PM'ing me for requests and so that is why I am making these artworks. I just made a dress for my Happy Birthday print fabric that is going to a very special birthday girl. This artwork will always be applied to this specific fabric print so any future orders on this particular fabric will have the same artwork, only the name will be changed. And I also just got the artwork done on the birthday bash colored balloons print as this order has already been placed as well. A small bow will be placed at the end of the strings to finish the look
I can understand that you and so many need to see visuals so I actually do send customers the artwork for final approval before I proceed. For now I guess that is the best I can do. . . .I am open to suggestions though so if you or anyone has any to share I would love to hear from you. |
