One of the main members of a Biewer club in this country has advertised Hybrids since last year. I contacted her just to make sure I was reading the ad correctly. These clubs are not registries....
I personally see no reason for breeding standard colors and Biewers and selling the babies as hybrids but it is not against any rules..I guess they have different ethics than I do. The market is gonna explode within a couple of years with Biewers..IMO | Rini,
I was wondering what your and Pat's thoughts were on the Hybrid thing. I don't know if I am going about it the 'proper way' either. Only time will tell. I have never seen a breed in AKC or any of the other registries have something called a 'Hybrid' so I aint buying it. I think it qualifies more in the Tri-Yorkie category. Because this is something you can do to produce Tris right?
With Biewers and Tris you need to split hairs, Tris can be marked any which way (the are beautifu) and Biewers need the marking in specific places. That's what differentiates the 2 and that's what Mr Biewer was trying to establish way back when. That's my interpretation anyway..
You are so right, the market is gonna explode. I am terrified!! I've heard that a Biewer puppy mill is in the works in Canada. The kennel is on it's own land, the owners don't even reside on the same property. Thats' SICK!!! I hope it's just a rumor but I am not so sure
