The only thing I use mine for is for a pot roast. I put roast, potatoes, carrots, onions, celery all together (and some salt)and when it starts the little top rocking I time it for 20 minutes. The flavor gets all thru everything and is so good.
I use my crock-pot the most. Love that thing!!!

what's the difference between a crock pot and a pressure cooker?

I just got a crock pot but do not know how to use it.
Then someone gave me a microwave pressure cooker ....
and I do not know how to use that either.
