There is no alternative. There is no such thing as the perfect litter, or the perfect dog for that matter. If we didn't breed unless it was a show worthy litter, than chances are the yorkie breed would cease to exist. However, we can take the best of one litter, and breed it to the best of another and hope that you end up with a little of show quality yorkies.
