Oh as far as when you are combing, same thing. Let him sniff the brush and give him a treat. Get special treats out that you ONLY get out when you brush him, and give him one periodically. Neither of mine were so much into the brushing when I got them but now they will put up with almost anything, especially Loki. Be firm but don't push too far. Like, if they wiggle don't let them go, that rewards them for wiggling. But, if they have had enough hold on to them until they sit still for a few seconds and THEN let go and try again later.
