Oh my goodness. That happened to Lexi 2 weeks ago. She was playing with her favorite toy. We have hardwood floors and as she was running along she suddenly went up on her back legs and fell back so hard the noise her head made when it hit the floor was frightening. She just laid there with her legs out stiff not moving. I know JUST how helpless you felt. I remember not know if I should pick her up on not. After about 1 or 2 minutes her eyes started to follow my voice. I rushed her to the vet who examined her and said the same thing, that she must have knocked herself out. She didn't run as much as usual for the rest of the day but thank goodness she's OK now. I'm so glad to hear you pup is well now too. It's like having a toddler around the house. |
