You shouldn't rush out and get another dog, but I honestly think you need something to do with all the love you had reserved for your beloved pet.

well said and kinda the point I was making....I too do not think you replace a dog when they pass...that part of your heart will FORVER be with that dog I do believe you can learn to deal with the pain as I dont think it EVER goes away. All I can say is if ANYTHING ever happens to Bella or Diggy....I hope you all come hold my hand and help me to stand because I will seriously be a disaster.
