I agree with the previous poster. You have been doing your homework. Good for you. And you are so right, there is no way to know if your yorkie is of breeding quality or standard if you aren't attending shows and/or it isn't evaluated by a judge.
If you ever get interested in showing yorkies, it is a long hard road, but I do hope I get to meet you in the ring sometime or even at a show site.
