I love our breed and it is beginning to look like something that I can't even recognize anymore and I feel education is the answer.

I know this is kindof random but something I'm proud of..LOL. I have a 10 month old Himalayan from a fantastic show breeder. She was out of a litter of 7 kittens and she kept four for show. I thought that was impressive - 4 show quality kittens out of a litter of 7. And they only fault mine has is that her nose is just a tad too long (they really have to have that extreme face - it's like the deciding thing in the show ring - like coat for yorkies)..so my baby just had one fault. Anyway...doesn't exactly relate to the thread but your comment made me think of it and I just thought it was pretty awesome

Purchasing from backyard breeders, pet shops, and puppymills perpetuates the suffering of other dogs.
Educate yourself and buy from reputable breeders or rescue.
