By breeding non-show quality (or pet quality) dogs, you are not breeding to the standard
If you are breeding non-show quality dogs, that means that they have too many faults to do well in the show ring. So therefor they have too many faults to meet the standard. Therfor, you are not breeding to the standard! There are many others on here that would agree with exactly what I said. But if you are breeding non-show quality dogs, you are not bettering the breed.
