First of all I would call Yorkierose and let her help you as much as she can. She would be able to tell you if she needs to be seen by the vet right away. Since it is a 2 hour drive to the ER vet, I wouldn't take a chance. What would I do? I would take her right to my vets office.... no phone call.. nothing.,. it is a weekday and they are open and they CANNOT refuse to help a dog in distress. I hope everything goes well for you. It sounds to me like your baby is in labor now. I would get her out from under the bed and into her whelping box. block off the bed so she cannot get under it. Yes, that sounds like the mucus plug you saw yesterday. DO NOT let her out to go potty without being with her. You do NOT want her to have the puppies outside. Good luck and please keep us posted..
