Awww...it will get better, at least it has somewhat for me thank goodness.
I was such a nut case when I brought Lucy home my husband finally insisted I only visit the "happy places" on YT for a while. Every time I came home I was telling him about an emergency or disease or accident I had read about and he suggested (strongly) that until I was more at ease with Lucy I may want to stay out of those sections. You know what? He was right. Now that I'm more comfortable I am able to go to all the threads and not personalize everything I read!
I'm not suggesting you do this but for ME it really helped. Not that I'm still not a nut case but at least I don't run out the door with Lucy to the vet every time she has gas...LOL
