My Little daisy had severe seperation issues too! She's scuttles along side me and looks up at me waiting to see if its her turn to go. She begins to whine, and tries to cut me off by walking in between my feet.I take her everywhere except for work and school.
Bit what I've realized that works is identifying the situation to your dog. with Daisy, everytime I leave and intend on taking her, I pull out her harness and leash OR her doogy bag. This tells her, " YAY! I'm going!" and without it, she knows. So now, she walks me to the front door, sits on command, then when I close the door she looks out the window and watches me pull out the driveway.
hehe. She's so darn cute!
