Default I am new here too

Hi Betsy,

I have had Maltese for many, many years. Anima was my first one. She was so sweet. She traveled all over the U.S. with me. I just had to have her put to sleep because her quality of life was not there anymore. I have Bella, and she is so beautiful...lovely personality, super love bug!!!

I have always wanted a Yorkie too, and finally I am going to have one on Saturday. I met her parents, and she already knows how to fetch. She has even grow up with other Maltese.

I too thought about a Morkie, but I have seen so many on groups with problems. One little Morkie has stiff legs and prances like a horse. Sure, that might be cute for 10 seconds until the realization hits that the little thing is going to have problems that are going to be expensive and heartbreaking.

When dealing with a breeder they guarantee the health of your dog for a year. I decided to go back to a breeder that was honest with me, and was going to give me guarantee for the puppy.

I wanted a female Yorkie that was healthy, happy, and going to be a "normal" weight dog. I believe the terminology tea cup is such a disservice to the Maltese, Yorkie, and other breeders. I realize that some dogs turn out small, but altering them to turn out to sizes of 2 and 3 lbs is just as bad a mixing breeds of dogs. This is my personal belief. Don't get my wrong... I too think they are so cute, but just not worth it to me.
