 size doesn't matter
I'm disappointed to here that you are considering giving up your puppy because of size. I was like you, I wanted a small puppy too. I looked and looked at so many dogs and none of them were right. Then I came across, JayDee. He was the last of the litter because he was so big, the breeder called him "Big Mac", but I fell in love with him anyways. He weighs a whopping 12 lbs (not overweight at all) at 2 y.o., but he is the most amazing dog I have ever met! I often think that other people may have gotten his 5-7 lb brothers and sisters, but luckily for me, they missed out on the opportunity to have one of the best dogs in the whole world. Something had to draw you to this dog in the first place other then his size? He's probably worth you loving him anyways. |
