I think we have 6 sets of steps for the kids. We used 2 sets when we made the tall ones so the could get up on our bed. Hubby put one set on top of the plastic recylcl bin (upside down) and then attached the other set of the front - it's fantastic!!! Got most of ours at Walgreen's for $10
