YorkieRose, I guess I should have worded differently...What I was trying to say is that getting bloodwork done before surgery
could help determine if the dog might do okay under anesthesia due to liver problems or something like that...Like I said, if ALT is elevated or certain other things are off, then the vet would want to put it off to find out what's causing the problem. Ya know?
