That's how I train all my dogs. One at a time. I crate the others when I'm training a dog. The only difference is I waited until each had a solid grasp of the command before I put them all back together. With mine, I find that sometimes they are childish and if one is not doing it, then the other doesn't want to either. And with 4 dogs it is easy to loose control really fast if I don't watch it.
