I'm so glad he's ok. I must say I'm very impressed with your son admitting that it was his fault. Unfortunately so many people are quick to blame others and in the world we live in today are looking for opportunities to sue. Your situation hit close to home only being on the side of the driver. I work with my parents, we have a small business and about a month ago one of our technicians was driving down the road in a company vehicle, he had no stop sign or stop lights and an 8 year old boy ran a stop sign on his bicycle and ran right into the side of the van. We have about 6 witnesses saying they saw the boy run the stop sign but the family got a lawyer and is trying to sue. Our insurance company is dealing with it and not giving in. Our poor technician was really shaken up and felt horrible even though there's nothing he could have done to prevent it. You should be very proud of your son's honesty and it shows what great parents you both are! Thank God he's OK!
