I agree. The breeder I got my Katie from would NOT sell Katie until she was 5 months old because she was so tiny and, also, because she was her favorite. She had a very hard time letting her go ... she was even crying. But we were friends (I say "were" in the past tense because she passed away this year) and I always brought Codie and Katie over to visit her and her husband Ivan. Even though they knew me personally before I bought my 2 dogs from them, they interviewed me and came over my house to see what needed to be puppy-proofed and adjusted. And this made me respect them even more because it was SO obvious that they love their puppies.
