I am so sorry to learn about your brother's death. Prayers for you and your sister and the rest of the family. I'm sure that part of the hurt is all the what ifs and what it would have been like - if you had had the opportunity to know him. I am so sorry he had such a difficult life. Thankful his body is at rest now and his spirit can live without that pain.
