 I want to try the citronella...
I have 2 Shelties. One only barks if there is a reason-he's playing, someone is at the door, etc. Dempsey makes up for it. I don't expect him to completely stop barking, but there are times (like when the phone rings or I'm trying to sweep!) that I want him to learn to be quiet! Sometimes he gets the other 3 excited for no reason and it's hard to get them all quieted down again! ESPECIALLY a pain in the butt when trying to answer a phone!!
Yorkieagility - I was going to look into a citronella collar, but Dempsey LOVES to be squirted with water. Like loud noises, it only gets him more excited to play/talk! Is it that aspect that stops them or the smell. He doesn't like strong smells, so I was hoping that would work. What do you think?
eensor - What is the pheromone plug in thingy??? I've never heard of that one. But am willing to try anything. |
