Also they are offering lots of pre surgery screening---blood screening (46.25 extra), EKG ($43.00) and an IV at an extra cost. Are these necessary?
My Chihuahua was nuetered 7 years ago with out any options like these by the same vet. I do trust this vet. He saved my chihuahuas life!

When Rocky was neutered i opted for the Laser just because they say it reduces swelling and the heal time is faster as well i dont think all the pre opt work is necessary but i got it done. I guess its all a matter of choice i did it because i wanted to be on the safe side but it's all up to you. I cant even tell where he had the surgery done no scar or anything.

All those dogs that were neutered back in the days never had none of this fancy stuff we have now and they all came out ok.

Im sure you will make the right desicion what ever you choose. Good luck to your baby with his surgery.
