The very first night I had Archie, I accidentally tossed a rubber ball into his pen (with him in it) and hit him on his head. BIG GUILT! Then, a couple of weeks later, a friend dropped him on his head (he flipped out of her grasp). Poor thing, he cried and ran around for a moment, but was OK. That was a year and 1/2 ago and he's still with me. Just yesterday, I mistepped and my foot came down on him, but he scooted out of the way before any damage was done, I've done this atleast a half-dozen times since I've had him. I say all this to say -- fear not -- you are not a bad puppy mom and you will find that these little guys are pretty spunky. Just watch your little one to make sure you don't detect injury and learn the "Yorkie shuffle" that we all do to keep from flattening our little darlins!
