Get ready to be patient!
Rico is just a little guy... he's got a while in the biting stage yet. Just keep working with him. He will get better. He'll stop biting as much, and he'll also learn not to bite so hard. But if you paddle him, that will make him bite more. The water bottle worked well for us.
