This may sound gross but I really need to ask. I have never heard of this before.
My Yorkie Jayci was sliding across the carpet in a sitting position. I have seen this before with him and I always check him. I usualy find a dried piece of "you know what" stuck to him. Well my mother is here visiting and she saw him doing that and yelled at him saying "I had to watch you doing that all day" Knock it off!! Well needless to say she has me mad right now because of her comments. So anyway she goes on in a snarky tone. Telling me that I need to get his glands squeezed and thats why he is dragging his butt on the carpet. Now, I have never heard of this and would appreciate some insight. I told her what I always find when he does this and she is still insisting that she is right. Then went on to say that the groomer can do it.
My mother never had a dog in her life and Jayci is the only Yorkie she has ever been around. And I checked him and did not find anything. Any thoughts on this would be helpful.
