I was nervous the first time, too!
Now we have done 4 and love it! They will tell you if a picture you choose is too light/too dark for it to be up to their standards, too. The covers aren't the most exciting. You can choose the linen cover's color, but the actual product was fantastic (although it probably should be for the price! LOL!) You should do it! (sounds like peer pressure, doesn't it!
