Never in all my many, many years of taking care of and owning dogs have I EVER known a Vet. to say something like that. I'd change Vets. pronto and get her to one ASAP. First off did that woman tell you what breed and how large the father to those pups are? Did she get pg. on her first heat? HOLLY COW, please help this poor little mommy out will you? She doesn't deserve to just lay around waiting to have pups that may be too large for her to have normally. I'm thinking she will definately need a C-section and needs to see the Vet. right now for evaluation and X-ray.
