I don't think going to see him was the smartest thing I've ever done. He made me feel even worse about everything. Besides, he seemed loonier than I feel like I am.

Blessing the house is a great idea. Is there a pastor you know who could come over, too? I know there are several pastors around here who do that. They go through the house room by room, praying. It's actually pretty cool.
