Yes, jetBlue does allow pets to fly but be careful to get the smallest Sherpa possible (with a Yorkie pup shouldn't be a problem!). jetBlue seats sit a bit lower, but they are wonderful about letting you fly a pet with you. I've taken Gracie across country with me on jetBlue. I think they do charge $50 (as do most airlines).

BTW I do not think Southwest accepts pets as they do not assign seats. They are not the same airline as USAir--they are separate airlines.
