Animal Smiley 019

I pee pee pad trained Olivia and didn't let her outside except to get in and out of the car- and I always carried her. We live a mile or two from the city zoo and the animals there carry all sorts of different diseases. My cousin and her husband live downstairs and their dog caught a disease in their yard when he was a puppy. They nearly lost him. The vet thought that a bird picked up the disease from one of the zoo animals, and then Abe smelled the bird's pee or poo and caught whatever it was carrying. I realize not everyone lives near a zoo, but take into consideration what is around your house. I would be more careful if your yard is not fenced. I tend to be way overly-cautious most of the time, and insisted that Olivia not touch anything until she was fully vaccinated- just incase. I tend to be unlucky in situations and thought if something could happen, it would happen to me!
