If your baby is changing coat - you may see lots of matts and if you can get them out without hurting her - I'd suggest trimming her down to an easier length so this doesn't happen - I used to use Johnsons NO MORE TANGLES for baby's on Cheri ..she got a few under her arms from clothes and you have to spray it on and work out the matt with your fingers - Brushing or combing hurts if you are't careful.
Also a good shampoo and conditioner will help lots ...Are you rinsing her really really well after her bath ? They can get itchy if residue is left on their hair and it can dry out their skin.....
I hope this helps a bit - it's lots of work caring for a yorkie - but once you get into a routine - it gets easier !!
Liperderm is a good supplement also ....I used to give it to my cocker - Petco has it...
