Thanks.  | I bought the Andis and another "cheap" one from Petsmart and had to return them both before I even used them. I couldn't figure out a way to have it higher than my dog so that I could use both hands on my dog, they were NOT sturdy on the table, and it WAS NOT quieter than my own blow dryer. I want a "good" one - we'll have these dogs 15 years if we're lucky and I'm spending $40 a shot per dog so I think the Oster is a worthwhile investment. I'd like one on a stand so that I can be totally hands free for my dogs though and I couldn't find how tall this one is. Good Luck and let us know what you end up doing!
