 Going to the groomers
Hi Everyone, I need your advice. Madeleine is 5 months old and she is going to the groomers for the first time next Saturday. I checked out a lot of different places but settled on a groomer who had a nice calm ambiance in her "salon". While I was in there chit chatting there were two other larger dogs getting groomed and they were so calm. I gave the woman a heads up that Maddie is very hyper when it comes to grooming and hates baths and combing. She didn't seem to think it would be a problem.
My question is, have any of you with hyper little puppies had trouble with grooming? In my head I can just see picking her up and her hair being completely uneven because she wouldn't sit still! I'm sure they have better techniques because they are professionals but I still worry that she will be too rambunctious to properly groom. Any thoughts???? |
