Bar keepers friend is for stainless, copper, brass, glass, tile, and I think a few other types of surfaces. I have an old copper bottom pot that was my grandmother's and it worked very well on that. It polished the copper and made it really shiny--like it was new. I was surprised, actually, because I didn't expect it to look THAT clean!
